KCode is based on the publicly available ZCode (Apache-2.0) source and is not officially affiliated with Z.ai or Zhipu: the product name, icon, commands, and environment variables are unified as KCode, the Zhipu / Z.ai login, OAuth, plan, and upgrade implementations are removed in favor of self-configured providers, and the official plugin marketplace is replaced by a repository-builtin directory.
