Main features - Change the Codex interface style and visuals to personalize the appearance to your preference - Adjust page layout, interface components, and interaction patterns so common content and actions are handier - Add new interface elements, status hints, or accessibility features that extend the original Codex experience - Combine multiple feature packages as needed and manage different UI modifications and visual effects in one place - Enable, disable, or update individual feature packages at any time, or turn off all interface enhancements and restore the original interface with one click - Install feature packages from a local directory, ZIP, or Git repository, with the app handling wiring, dependencies, compilation, load order, and failure fallback - Export installed feature packages as reinstallable ZIP archives for backup or sharing - Follow the system preferred language automatically, with manual switching between Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean - On macOS, hide the Dock, app-switcher, and menu-bar icons separately while background injection keeps running Codex Tweaks does not modify Codex application files. After interface enhancements are disabled, styles, components, and event listeners added to pages are cleaned up, and Codex keeps working as before. Security Notice - Feature packs run within Codex pages and may access page content. Only install feature packs and their dependencies that you trust and are willing to run - Git feature packs are locked to specific versions; updates and compilation must be manually triggered by the user - Dependency lifecycle scripts are suppressed before authorization. For feature packs that request Node access, explicitly authorizing the current version may run npm lifecycle scripts during locked dependency installation; feature packs themselves remain third-party code - Codex Tweaks only applies enhancements to the local Codex interface and does not inject into regular web pages - Local connections only listen on localhost; do not expose them to external networks via proxies or port forwarding
