Nomi Cookieboty
Install Nomi with WinGet
winget install --id=Cookieboty.Nomi -e Nomi is an AI companion living on your desktop: bring any model, let it do the work, and let it hand specialist jobs to specialist AIs. Models, coding agents, MCP and local tools all connect in one place, coordinated by Nomi. Connect a model once and every AI can use it: after adding a provider, Nomi itself plus Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Grok and dsh can use any of its models, or everything can switch to local models. The local gateway detects and translates between Anthropic Messages, OpenAI Responses, OpenAI Chat Completions and Gemini generateContent, so streaming, tool calls, reasoning, images and context compaction keep working. Tasks can be limited to specific folders, coding assistants get a two-column workspace, and the desktop mascot shows speech and confirmation bubbles. The app runs on a Go core with the native WebView, installs per user without administrator rights, and needs the Edge WebView2 runtime, which is usually preinstalled on Windows 10 and 11.
