Hostpad keeps every remote machine in one place and opens it with a double click. It is an address book rather than another terminal: the list, the credentials and the notes live in Hostpad, while PuTTY, WinSCP, mstsc and your VNC viewer do the connecting. Connections sit in nested folders, searchable across name, hostname, username and notes. SSH jump hosts, private keys, post-login commands, Remote Desktop screen and drive settings are real fields rather than strings smuggled into other strings. The list is always encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Without a master password the vault is tied to the Windows account through DPAPI; with one it also opens on another computer. An existing AutoPuTTY configuration can be imported, passwords and folders included.
