Viktor the Cleaner frees disk space without gambling with your data. Every run starts as a preview: he counts what could safely go and explains, in plain words, why each item is safe to remove. Nothing is deleted until you say so. Files that still carry value - logs, crash dumps - go to the Hole instead of being erased, where they can be restored for seven days before they are removed for good. Passwords, sessions and user data are protected by a hard guard in the core; those paths are never touched. Viktor also reviews the health of the machine (disks, memory, startup programs) and shows where the disk space actually went.
