Speech recognition runs locally on the CPU; an optional local rewrite model removes filler words, false starts and self-corrections without changing what you said. No account, no telemetry, nothing uploaded. English by default, with an opt-in multilingual recognizer covering 25 European languages. Raw dictation is free; Clean mode is free for 2,000 words a week.
