CCHarness is a local-first, multi-model AI chat desktop app (Tauri 2 + React 18 + Rust) licensed under AGPL-3.0, bringing multiple large models into a single desktop workbench. It offers seven workflow modes (agent, plan, goal, deep reasoning, review, image generation, and custom state machines), multi-agent collaboration (arena comparison, round-table group chat, named sub-agents), vector long-term memory with automatic reflection, and request-side prefix cache hit rate as a first-class metric. It ships 16+ built-in tools, MCP, Skills, Guardrails safety rails, and multimodal input, supporting DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi, OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint; API keys are encrypted at the system level.
