PstRotator YO3DMU
winget install --id=YO3DMU.PstRotator -e
PstRotator supports separate antenna rotator controllers for Azimuth and Elevation control. It can control two separate rotor interfaces: one for azimuth and the second for elevation, or it can control a single azimuth + elevation rotor interface. Connect the rotator interfaces to PC using the RS232 ports or USB to serial converters, and select the communication ports from the available COM Ports.
PstRotator is a software application designed to control antenna rotators, enabling precise azimuth (AZ) and elevation (EL) adjustments. It supports both separate AZ and EL controllers or single AZ/EL interfaces, connected via RS232 ports or USB-to-serial converters.
Key Features:
-
Precision Control: Antenna positioning can be achieved through mouse clicks on a graphical interface (e.g., compass rose), keyboard arrows, preset locator codes, map selections, or direct callsign input.
-
Remote Multi-user Access: Configure PstRotator as a server-client system for remote operation over TCP/IP networks, ensuring continuous link status monitoring and automatic reconnection if needed.
-
Integrated Mapping: Utilize Google Maps or custom UI-View maps for directional targeting, allowing users to click on a map location to align the antenna accordingly.
-
Callsign Database Integration: Automatically retrieve geolocation data from CTY.DAT, VHF_USA.mdb, VHF_EU.mdb, and CALL3.TXT databases by entering a callsign, enabling direct pointing towards the target QTH.
-
Satellite, Moon, and Sun Tracking: Built-in algorithms for celestial tracking allow users to point their antennas at satellites, the Moon, or the Sun, with additional features like horizon-based shutdown or parking.
-
RA/DEC Coordinate Support: Enter Right Ascension and Declination values from radio astronomy catalogs to automatically compute and set the corresponding azimuth and elevation.
-
Bidirectional Antenna Control: Supports bi-directional rotary dipoles (BD-90 or BD-0 modes) alongside Yagi antennas, enabling seamless operation of both antenna types on a single rotator.
-
Remote Control for SteppIR/UltraBeam: Manage remote operations for SteppIR and UltraBeam antennas via TCP/IP, with integration support for radio tracking using logger software.
