FilePilot filepilot
winget install --id=qup1010.FilePilot -e FilePilot is a locally running AI file-organizing application that helps you sort and archive cluttered files. It splits file organization into a confirmable workflow: scan the source, let the model draft an organizing plan, pre-check it before execution, and run it after your confirmation. Every run keeps logs and an undo entry so you can inspect results or roll back. Core features Turn messy folders into a confirmable organizing plan FilePilot drafts organizing suggestions based on file names, directory structure, and the necessary content summaries. You can file items into existing directories or let it generate a new classification structure. Check risks before moving — the AI never touches files on its own Before files are actually moved, FilePilot shows the organizing plan and highlights potential risks such as target path conflicts, cross-disk moves, and abnormal task states. Actual file operations run only after your confirmation. Logs after organizing, with undo Every run records an organizing log. Afterwards you can browse the history and use the most recent undo entry to reverse the last organizing operation. Use your own model endpoint — no hosted service lock-in FilePilot provides no hosted model service and ships no fixed model account. Configure your own OpenAI-compatible endpoint, such as OpenAI, DeepSeek, Ollama, or another compatible service. Organize multiple sources together Multiple files and folders can be selected at once and merged into a single organizing task. Generate more intuitive folder icons after organizing FilePilot also ships an icon workshop that generates, previews, applies, and restores custom icons for organized folders. This feature needs an image-generation model.
